About The Position

Morris Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization and an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International that brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Our organization serves populations in 68 municipalities spanning across Morris, Middlesex and parts of Union and Somerset Counties.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Experience working in logistics, retail, or customer service
Strong communication abilities, both written and oral
Confidence in using technology such as email, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Capable of consistently lifting up to 50 lbs.
Excellent time management, organizational habits, and a sense of urgency
Good judgment when assessing donations
Comfortable working independently, as well as collaborating with others

Nice To Haves

Basic photography knowledge is helpful—training will be provided
Spanish language proficiency is an advantage

Responsibilities

Process goods efficiently across all categories
Clean, prepare, and move goods as required
Load/unload containers and transport items to designated areas
Support the sales cycle by receiving, processing, photographing, listing, stocking, storing, and testing products
Create item titles with relevant keywords
Print packing slips
Conduct inventory checks
Pull and pack orders for shipping per standards
Keep work area neat and organized
Consistently meet productivity targets
Perform other tasks as assigned
