About The Position

The E-Books Team Member sorts, evaluates, scans, and lists books and media for online sale using an automated inventory management system. The role also shelves product, retrieves sold items, verifies them against pick sheets and their SKU and title, packs orders, and ships packages. The team member uses shipping application software to generate labels and resolve address issues, and works to meet daily production goals for items scanned and shipped. The position includes maintaining a clean and safe work area, assisting with the purging of unsold inventory, and moving totes, pallets, and large gaylord boxes in staging and workspace areas. Other duties may be assigned. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

Basic computer skills.
Ability to multitask to meet daily production quotas.
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times.
Ability to stand, bend, and twist for eight hours.
Frequent exposure to airborne particles while performing job duties.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Sort, evaluate, and scan books and media for online sales using an automated inventory management system.
Retrieve ordered items from the warehouse and accurately match pick sheets to SKU and title.
Pack books and media using an envelope appropriate to each item's size and type.
Use shipping application software to generate shipping labels and resolve address issues.
Meet daily production goals for items scanned and shipped.
List accepted books and media for sale online.
Accurately assign and shelve product.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Assist with regular purging of unsold inventory.
Transfer totes, pallets, and large gaylord boxes of books and media in the staging area and workspace as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
