About The Position

TSMC Arizona is seeking an EBO Manufacturing Engineer for its 5-nanometer fab in Phoenix, Arizona. TSMC Arizona’s EBO-AZ operation is responsible for EUV and optical mask making, including leading-edge mask writing, inspection, repair, cleaning, and metrology technology. The role calls for reliability, enthusiasm, and alignment with the company’s core values of Integrity, Commitment, Innovation, and Customer Trust. The position is based in Phoenix, Arizona; training is in the United States, and travel is not required.

Requirements

• A minimum of a B.S. degree in an engineering or scientific field.
• Experience supervising or managing a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
• Clear and logical thinking, with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Fluency in English.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruiting and supervise technicians in the Arizona mask-making fab.
• Report manufacturing output daily and continuously improve performance.
• Work and communicate closely with EBO engineers across time zones in Arizona and Taiwan; Taiwan is 15 hours ahead of Phoenix, Arizona.
• Work on duty one day per month.
