Requirements

  • DZ license required
  • Ability to perform physically strenuous work for extended periods (lifting, bending, kneeling, hose handling)
  • Ability to multi-task, take direction and work without supervision or within a team at times
  • Ability to work flexible hours/shifts, days, evenings, nights & possibly weekends or holidays
  • Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Confined Space Entry is considered an asset
  • Working at heights greater than 3 meters is considered an asset
  • Experience using a Respirator or Supplied Air Breathing Apparatus is considered an asset
  • Previous experience with Vacuum Trucks, Industrial Power-washing or Water-blasting, or Liquid Waste Industry experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate DZ-class vacuum trucks, units, hoses and related equipment
  • Perform high-pressure vacuuming of materials such as sludge, slurry, debris, or hazardous waste
  • Assist with job setup, confined space entry, and clean-up activities
  • Manual, physical demanding labour (lifting hoses, heavy lifting repetitive movements)
  • Conduct daily pre and post trip inspections or vehicles and equipment
  • Adhere strictly to all safety procedures, policies and regulations
  • Communication with supervisors and site contacts to ensure smooth job execution
  • Maintain cleanliness of Tools and Equipment
  • Line snaking, Drain and Pipe Inspections as required
  • Complete required paperwork, including work orders, safety documents, and driver logs
  • Maintain equipment and report any issues or safety concerns
  • Other responsibilities as required
