About The Position

Consolidated Office Installation Services is looking for a reliable, experienced DZ Driver to join our team in Ottawa! This is a full-time, permanent position offering stability, a strong team environment, and the opportunity to represent a respected Canadian-owned company. As a DZ Driver, you will handle local deliveries, including loading and unloading commercial office furniture. Requirements

OSSD or equivalent
Class 3 or D-class license with Air Brake (Z) endorsement
Minimal 2–3 years of commercial driving experience with a D Class Vehicle.
Strong professionalism in customer service.
Ability to handle customer inquiries.
Commitment to workplace Health & Safety.
Teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Ability to lift 45 kg (100 lbs.)
Physically fit for loading/unloading duties.
Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR (required)
Satisfactory CPIC background check (required upon offer)
Bondable - Criminal record check
Medical exam - Drug test
Additional project-specific clearances as needed
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Satisfactory completion of an on-road evaluation (required upon offer)

Nice To Haves

Experience with straight trucks (4,600 kg+/10,000 lbs+ with 3+ axles), vans, and pickups
Familiarity with driver logbooks/ELD, bills of lading, inspection reports, trip reports, and incident reports
Experience using cellular phones, GPS/satellite tracking systems, and ELD units
