About The Position

This role involves providing information and training on screening and level 2 assessments, specifically focusing on the new Cambium K-3 screener and assessment. The specialist will regularly visit districts within their region to monitor compliance, including screening students with characteristics of dyslexia, interventions, and reporting to parents and districts. A key responsibility is partnering with districts to analyze student data, evaluate intervention effectiveness, and develop support plans. The role also includes attending required meetings, contributing to resource development for districts, teachers, and parents, and collaborating with other state support partners and dyslexia specialists on special projects. Additionally, the specialist will provide regional and state-level professional learning and support.

Requirements

  • Experience with screening and level 2 assessments

Responsibilities
