This role involves supporting and executing dynamometer testing for Electrified Vehicles, both manually and through automation, under the direction of engineering. The technician will be responsible for setting up dynamometers, including the mechanical and electrical installation of test equipment. Collaboration with engineering is key for reviewing test data and ensuring quality. The position also requires supporting dyne cell operations, troubleshooting equipment, and performing maintenance. Reviewing test specifications for equipment capability and contributing to continuous improvement actions are also part of the role. The technician will work with power analyzer and test inverter setups, and must be able to understand and communicate test plans and schedules effectively, especially when milestones are at risk. A hands-on approach, high awareness of high voltage safety standards, and the ability to work proactively with minimal supervision are essential.
