About The Position

NEOSTEK, Inc. is seeking a skilled Functional Analyst to configure, test, and support Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions on a federal contract. The analyst translates approved requirements and user stories into working CRM configuration – entities/tables, forms, workflows, business rules, security roles, and dashboards – and validates that work against acceptance criteria. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, CRM optimization, and enterprise application solutions is highly desirable. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred; however, candidates with relevant experience supporting other enterprise CRM, business application, or comparable technology platforms are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience performing functional analysis and functional testing of enterprise CRM or business application solutions, including validating functionality against written requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM / Customer Engagement or a comparable enterprise CRM platform. Experience should include working with application configuration such as entities/tables, forms, views, business rules, workflows, security roles, dashboards, or comparable functionality.
  • Experience analyzing approved functional requirements and user stories and translating them into functional solutions, configurations, enhancement recommendations, and test scenarios.
  • Experience supporting application enhancements, testing, validation, troubleshooting, and/or production support activities.
  • Experience developing functional documentation, configuration documentation, test cases, validation materials, and/or end-user guidance.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform technologies, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate as used with Dynamics 365 or comparable business applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively with developers, architects, testers, business stakeholders, and other technical and functional team members.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information.
  • Due to the nature of this government contract, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Demonstrated experience performing functional analysis and functional testing of enterprise CRM or business application solutions, including validating functionality against written requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience supporting application enhancements, testing, validation, troubleshooting, and/or production support activities.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Sales, or related CE modules.
  • Experience with other enterprise CRM platforms, such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, or earlier versions of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint or other Microsoft collaboration/content-management platforms.
  • Experience supporting federal CRM modernization programs, multi-year federal contracts, or regulated-industry CRM implementations.
  • Experience with enterprise integrations, data migration into Dataverse/Dynamics 365, or data governance initiatives.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications.
  • Experience configuring or administering enterprise CRM or business applications in a production or implementation environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze approved user stories and functional requirements for clarity, completeness, and fit with Microsoft Dynamics 365 capabilities, limitations, and technical solutions.
  • Configure and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM / Customer Engagement solutions, including entities and tables, forms, views, business rules, workflows, Power Automate flows, security roles, business units, dashboards, and related functionality.
  • Translate approved business needs and requirements into CRM configurations, solution recommendations, and enhancement designs, working directly with the application and configuration rather than relying exclusively on developers for implementation.
  • Validate completed user stories and system functionality against defined acceptance criteria through functional and system testing; identify, document, and retest defects.
  • Evaluate existing CRM processes and recommend configuration or process changes that improve business operations, user experience, and system efficiency.
  • Develop functional documentation, configuration notes, test scenarios, and end-user guidance materials.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, testers, business stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams to support implementations, integrations, troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Provide functional expertise on Dynamics 365 CRM capabilities, constraints, and best practices, including configuration-first approaches and considerations for when custom development may be appropriate.
