If you thrive on solving complex engineering challenges through hands-on experimentation, rigorous test engineering, and technical leadership, this role offers the opportunity to shape the future of liquid-cooling technology for AI-driven datacenters. The DVT Engineer Lead is responsible for driving the Design Verification Testing strategy and quality assurance for next-generation liquid-cooling products. This role spans the entire NPDI (New Product Development & Introduction) lifecycle - from concept and design review, to performance/reliability testing, to product qualification. The DVT Lead provides technical direction, ensures compliance with internal and industry standards, and delivers validated, high-quality products to market. This position requires collaboration across mechanical, electrical, controls, process, and manufacturing engineering in a fast-paced, world-class lab environment.

  • Own and lead the creation, approval, and execution of Design Verification Test (DVT) plans for all new liquid-cooling products.
  • Review and challenge product requirements/specifications to ensure testability, completeness, and alignment with customer needs.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee performance testing, reliability testing, safety testing, and component-level qualification activities.
  • Ensure accurate data capture, documentation, and reporting for internal reviews, design updates, and customer witness tests.
  • Participate in every phase of NPDI, including concept feasibility, design reviews, prototype validation, pilot builds, field trial support, and readiness for mass production.
  • Lead DVT sign-off and ensure all verification evidence meets internal quality standards.
  • Support gate reviews by presenting test results, risk assessments, validation readiness, and quality status.
  • Work closely with mechanical, electrical, software/controls, and manufacturing teams to validate designs, identify issues, and drive corrective actions.
  • Partner with offering managers, sourcing teams, quality engineering, and service teams for lifecycle improvements and supplier qualification.
  • Collaborate with process and lab engineering to design and implement test facility upgrades, instrumentation improvements, and capacity expansions.
  • Collaborate with firmware/controls teams to verify control algorithms, fault handling, and system responses.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering standards, safety protocols, and lab procedures.
  • Develop test methods, automation improvements, and data-analysis frameworks to accelerate validation and improve accuracy.
  • Drive engineering analyses using thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and reliability engineering principles.
  • Validate analytical and empirical performance models; contribute to data-driven design improvements.
  • Lead investigations into design issues, field failures, and validation non-conformances.
  • Support root-cause analysis using structured problem-solving approaches (8D, FMEA, Ishikawa).
  • Guide occasional use of CFD/FEA for test correlation and design critique.
  • Support component verification testing for alternate suppliers or design changes.
  • Represent DVT in design reviews, customer witness testing, and internal audits.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • 5 plus years of engineering experience in product development, test engineering, or validation of thermal or electromechanical systems.
  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat-transfer systems (water, glycol, refrigerant).
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs.
  • Proven ability to lead test programs and manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical writing, data-analysis, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering validated products through a structured NPDI process.
  • International travel willingness (up to 20%).
