About The Position
Fairfax Animal Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia (a Washington D.C. suburb) is seeking a DVM/VMD Student Extern. Fairfax Animal Hospital has proudly served the community for over seven decades, with a team dedicated to providing modern medicine and excellent patient care. This externship offers the opportunity to gain experience with daytime emergency medicine and mentorship from experienced veterinarians with special interests in exotics, soft tissue surgery, wellness care, and basic orthopedic surgery.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an AVMA accredited Veterinary School (VMD or DVM degree path)
Nice To Haves
- Dr. Curry has completed NAVC Soft Tissue and Orthopedic courses
Responsibilities
- Gain experience with daytime emergency medicine
