DVM Student Externship - Westport Animal Clinic
About The Position
Westport Animal Clinic is seeking 1st through 4th year veterinary students for an externship opportunity. This is a chance for students to enhance their education through real-world experiences in a fast-paced, multi-doctor small animal practice. The clinic offers a wide range of services, including preventative care, surgery, high-speed dentistry, cold laser therapy, in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, medical/vacation boarding, and pet bathing. The externship provides flexible scheduling, paid hours, and future employment opportunity preferences. Students will benefit from a DVM mentor network and 1:1 mentorship and guidance.
Requirements
- Must be an Active Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
- Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator.
