Valhalla Animal Hospital is seeking 1st through 4th year veterinary students for a paid externship. This is an opportunity to enhance your education through real-world experience in a well-established veterinary medicine provider in southern New York. We are dedicated to providing a high standard of service for our clients while providing support and guidance to pet owners. We pride ourselves on maintaining long-term relationships with clients from their puppy or kitten stages to adult years. Valhalla Animal Hospital is equipped with the latest innovations and medical capabilities, providing wellness, dentistry, surgical, and emergency care. Our clinic is equipped with an in-house laboratory, pharmacy, and radiology to optimize our range of diagnostics. We utilize laser therapy to reduce pain and recovery time in our surgical suites. The externship offers flexible scheduling, paid hours, and a future employment opportunity. We are looking for compassionate, team players with strong communication skills.
Requirements
- Must be an Active Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
- Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator.
