About The Position

We are sharing a specialised remote consulting opportunity for Dutch language professionals with strong transcription, linguistic, and quality-review skills to contribute to an advanced AI training project focused on high-quality Dutch and English audio data. Selected professionals will transcribe professionally recorded audio samples, review and edit completed transcripts, capture linguistic nuance accurately, and support annotation workflows used to improve language-focused AI systems. The work requires native-level Dutch fluency, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to interpret context, dialect, and speaker intent precisely. No prior experience in AI is required.

Requirements

Native-level fluency in Dutch
Exceptional command of Dutch grammar, vocabulary, and language usage
Professional experience in audio transcription, ideally involving Dutch-language content
Strong ability to capture subtle linguistic, contextual, and speaker-intent cues
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing precise deliverables
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable following detailed transcription, annotation, and formatting guidelines
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Reliable ability to meet project deadlines and quality standards
No prior experience in AI training is required
Strict confidentiality and data-security requirements apply throughout the engagement
Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with English audio transcription is advantageous
Experience contributing to AI training, natural-language processing, or data-annotation projects is beneficial but not required

Responsibilities

Transcribe Dutch and English audio samples into accurate, high-quality written text
Preserve meaning, context, grammar, punctuation, and speaker intent
Capture subtle linguistic features and natural spoken-language patterns accurately
Handle dialectal variation, ambiguous speech, and context-dependent expressions carefully
Maintain consistency across repeated transcription assignments
Review, proofread, and edit completed transcriptions before submission
Identify and correct grammar, punctuation, formatting, or transcription errors
Ensure transcripts comply with project-specific quality and formatting standards
Verify that written outputs accurately reflect the underlying audio
Maintain high accuracy and consistency across all deliverables
Annotate transcriptions for specific linguistic features when required
Apply project tagging and annotation guidelines consistently
Identify contextual, grammatical, or linguistic details relevant to AI training
Document ambiguous or difficult passages requiring further review
Provide linguistic insight to improve the quality and usefulness of transcription data
Collaborate with project stakeholders to clarify ambiguous content and transcription standards
Provide constructive feedback on transcription quality and workflow processes
Incorporate reviewer feedback and evolving project guidelines into future work
Communicate linguistic challenges and edge cases clearly
Manage project responsibilities independently within a remote working environment
