About The Position

The Orthopaedic Center is looking for a highly motivated DME Fitter. This opening is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week. The DME Fitter will perform in-clinic and hospital (pre- and post-surgical) fittings of various orthopedic devices. The DME Fitter must be able to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff.

Requirements

• HS/GED
• Minimum one-year full-time clinical experience in direct patient care setting
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Strong patient care and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational, time management and writing skills
• Ability to speak clearly and concisely
• Outstanding organizational, verbal and writing skills
• Independent and highly motivated
• Initiative and self-discipline
• Proven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work history

Responsibilities

• Perform in-clinic and hospital (pre- and post-surgical) fittings of various orthopedic devices.
• Communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff.
