About The Position

Responsible for loading and unloading raw materials into automatic dumping bins and/or manually dumping products directly onto feed conveyors for the duration of 8 hours or more depending on volume and according to customer specification. The work environment can be loud, wet, and cold (approximately 36 degrees Fahrenheit). This role requires the ability to stand for the duration of the shift (8 hours or more) and perform repetitive motions such as push/pull/lift, bend continuously, lift up to 50 pounds, and climb stairs or step up onto a platform several times throughout the shift. Flexibility to work 6 consecutive days, overtime, and weekends if necessary is also required.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (8 hours or more).
• Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift such as push/pull/lift.
• Ability to bend continuously throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairs or step up onto a platform several times throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a loud, wet, and cold environment (approximately 36 degrees Fahrenheit).
• Flexibility to work 6 consecutive days, overtime, and weekends if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading raw materials into automatic dumping bins and/or manually dumping products directly onto feed conveyors.
• Counting and keeping track of both quantities and time of product dumped into the hoppers, dump station, or production line.
• Operating dumping machines safely and using correct lifting techniques.
• Mixing product by moving arms forward in a 'throwing motion' or pushing mixed vegetables into product and mixing it together while bent over.
• Handling product that may have a temperature of 32-36 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Performing other duties such as basic housekeeping as assigned.
