About The Position

This position is accountable for monitoring product throughout the processing phase. Must maintain good communication with receiving/preparation, floor operators, grinding room, and loadout to coordinate equipment adjustments as needed. Responsible for the operation of computers that operate the facility. May be required to reset breakers, starters, and variable frequency drives. This person must be able to identify all motor controls or equipment and relay information to team member for correct lockout. Monitors controls, relays temps, gate positions, and speeds to Team members, operates computers, centrifuge/analysis machines, and basic hand tools. Reports any unsafe items to the supervisor, resets controls in motor control center, follows plant safety rules, performs QA/HACCP duties as assigned and communicates via two way radio. May be required to operate frontend loader or forklift and will be required to obtain certification to do so.

Requirements

  • Must have 6 months of continuous work history with single employer in the past 12 months.
  • All applicants must complete the final task that is separate from the application.
  • Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
