About The Position

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow its team of manufacturing professionals by hiring a Dumper/Back Up Machine Operator for the Weekend Night Shift in Hanover, PA. This role is responsible for supplying production lines with packaging materials, transporting skids of finished product to the warehouse, and operating barrel filling lines, rod machines, and labelers. The work schedule is Thursday to Saturday from 5:55 PM to 5:55 AM.

Requirements

• Requires basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Requires knowledge and skills of a barrel filling lines, rod machine and labelers.
• Able to lift a minimum of 80lbs.
• Required forklift license.
• Required to wear non-slip shoes and appropriate personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supplies production lines with needed materials.
• Places skids of cardboard/barrels at tables and packing stations.
• Uses forklift or hand jack to transport skids of finished product to warehouse.
• Operates barrel filling lines, rod machine and labelers.
• Helps/backfills warehouse personnel to load trucks, unload incoming materials.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position.
