About The Position
L.C.L. Excavation is hiring an experienced Dump Truck Driver to support our municipal and civil construction projects. This role involves safely hauling materials such as gravel, sand, asphalt, and excavated material to and from job sites.
Requirements
- Valid Class 3 or Class 1 driver’s license with clean abstract
- Experience operating dump trucks in construction or hauling operations
- Strong understanding of safe driving, weight limits, and proper dumping techniques
- Reliable, professional, and able to work in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Operate tandem dump trucks safely and efficiently
- Haul gravel, sand, asphalt, and other materials to and from project sites
- Perform proper loading, unloading, and dumping procedures
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any issues
- Maintain accurate trucking logs, load tickets, and delivery records
- Work closely with site supervisors, loader operators, and crews
- Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company policies
