Our Programs Neighborhood House of North Richmond provides several programs to those in need, including multicultural senior and family center, HIV/AIDs outreach and prevention, and our DUI program.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field preferred
Current certification or licensure as a substance abuse counselor.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in substance abuse counseling.
Strong understanding of DUI laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations bs staff.
Compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
Proficient in record-keeping and documentation practices.
BI-LINGUAL SPANISH

Responsibilities

Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for clients dealing with DUI and substance abuse issues.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with regulations.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
