About The Position

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is seeking a Due Diligence Assessment Project Specialist to join their Building & Construction team. This role offers an opportunity to build a career in the Building Science Solutions field. The Building and Construction division is comprised of industry leaders in architecture, engineering, and construction disciplines, developing innovative product and project solutions. Intertek's services in assurance, testing, inspection, and consulting act as a risk management and quality assurance partner for new developments, existing assets, and facilities. The Building Science Solutions (BSS) group focuses on building enclosure consulting, commissioning, and field performance testing for both new construction and retrofit projects. The Project Specialist will provide Property Condition Assessment and Construction Draw Review Inspection services, along with building enclosure consulting and testing. This position requires frequent local and overnight travel.

Requirements

Degree in Architectural, Construction Management, or Engineering
3+ years experience performing commercial Property Condition Assessments (PCAs)
Knowledge of regulatory requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Microsoft Office experience a must
Technical knowledge of commercial building systems
Must be detail-oriented
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be a self-starter
Follow and enforce safety requirements and company policies
Ability to travel frequently outside local area, depending on local workload and project locations
Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record (required)
