Requirements

• Knowledge and use of measuring devices, materials, equipment, and tools used in pipe fabrication
• Ability to read and understand safety procedures, technical drawings, interpret drawings, schematics, production orders, standards, procedures, and ensure each order and project are completed correctly
• A strong work ethic, a strong desire to learn, and commitment to customers, the team, and Company
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
• The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and a team leader. Must be able to carry out and comply with Company policies and safety procedures
• Attention to detail and a strong desire to serve the customer by producing quality products that meet all specified requirements, including on-time delivery

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 3 years of experience fabricating ductile iron pipe is preferred
• Knowledge of fabrication machinery and equipment is preferred
• Welding knowledge and experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA and Company safety requirements
• Making and delivering a quality product that meets customer requirements by measuring, cutting, threading, and flange assembly of ductile iron pipe
• Testing pipe assemblies for leaks
• Troubleshooting issues with fabrications and equipment
