Requirements

Knowledge and use of measuring devices, materials, equipment, and tools used in pipe fabrication
Ability to read and understand safety procedures, technical drawings, interpret drawings, schematics, production orders, standards, procedures, and ensure each order and project are completed correctly
A strong work ethic, a strong desire to learn, and commitment to customers, the team and Company
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Good communication skills
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to stand for extended periods
Must be able to pass a drug screening
Self-motivated and a team leader
Ability to carry out and comply with Company policies and safety procedures
Attention to detail and a strong desire to serve the customer by producing quality products that meet all specified requirements, including on-time delivery

Nice To Haves

A minimum of 3 years of lathe experience threading and fabricating ductile iron pipe
Manual lathe operating knowledge and experience
Knowledge of fabrication machinery and equipment
Welding knowledge and experience

Responsibilities

Follow OSHA and Company safety requirements
Making and delivering a quality product that meets customer requirements by measuring, cutting, threading, and flange assembly of ductile iron pipe
Lathe machining of ductile iron pipe, flanges, accessories, and parts
Testing pipe assemblies for leaks
Troubleshooting issues with fabrications and equipment
