About The Position

This role is responsible for operating duct manufacturing machinery to meet daily production goals. The operator will inspect raw materials, prepare production materials, set up and adjust machinery, and monitor the production flow. The position also involves transferring finished products and maintaining a clean work environment, with additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to inspect raw materials for correct insulation, core, and jacket materials.
• Skill in preparing and organizing labels, spec sheets, and production materials.
• Proficiency in performing machine setup adjustments (mandrels, glass guides).
• Ability to adjust label guns with accurate production date codes.
• Capability to load core trays, foil jackets, and insulation materials.
• Experience operating duct manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to monitor production flow.
• Skill in rolling and transferring finished products.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow production schedules assigned by the Crew Chief to meet daily manufacturing goals.
• Inspect raw materials to ensure correct insulation, core, and jacket materials are being used.
• Prepare and organize labels, spec sheets, and production materials.
• Perform machine setup adjustments, including mandrels and glass guides.
• Adjust label guns with accurate production date codes.
• Load core trays, foil jackets, and insulation materials into production equipment.
• Operate duct manufacturing machinery and monitor production flow.
• Roll and transfer finished products to the bagging area.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist with additional production and warehouse duties as assigned.
