About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Dual Seal Operator – 3rd Shift to join our team located in Cambridge, OH. The primary function is to produce quality products with minimum scrap. This role offers growth potential and a team-oriented environment. The hourly rate is $18/hr. plus a $1/hr. shift premium for the 3rd Shift, which runs from 10pm to 6am. Requirements

• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Willing to work overtime including weekends
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. on an infrequent basis

Responsibilities

• Produce quality products with minimum scrap
• Set up equipment and complete changeovers timely
• Produce and use Material Identification labels
• Identify quality material prior to packaging
• Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notify supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues
• Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day
• Maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S Standards
• Promote teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers
