About The Position

This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and team members. When acting in the capacity of the Dealer, all essential duties and responsibilities of that position will be assumed by this team member. When acting in the capacity of the Games Supervisor, all essential duties and responsibilities of that position will be assumed by this team member.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum 12 months of casino dealing experience is required.
  • Must understand and speak the English language.
  • Must have excellent guest service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Roulette experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Opens game at assigned table, counts contents, verifies count with closing list, inspects cards or dice, and signs off with supervisor.
  • Deals games, pays out winnings, exchanges currency for chips, and informs guests of game rules.
  • Changes over deck of cards or dice; inspects and mixes cards.
  • Verifies bank roll fills with the supervisor and Security personnel.
  • Ensures protection of game; maintains continuous inspection of cards or dice; ensures betting in compliance with game rules and minimums set.
  • Close game; sort cards, balance rack, count chips and sign off with the supervisor.
  • Maintains the honesty and integrity of assigned games, controlling pace.
  • Assists guest with questions regarding casino activities or refers to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitors all pit games in assigned pit. Maximum number of tables he/she may be responsible for is six (6).
  • Opens and closes table games in assigned area, verifying count as provided by the Dealer.
  • Inspects card decks prior to play.
  • Tracks and records player buy-ins, wins, losses, and bet amounts.
  • Monitors bets and payouts and corrects as needed.
  • Completes rating cards for players.
  • Initiates and verifies fills to tables.
  • Processes player requests for Credit and extends to guest upon approval.
  • Investigates and resolves guest complaints or concerns in accordance with standard procedures.
  • Maintains a constant awareness of game integrity and protection.
  • Counsels, motivates, and instructs assigned personnel in the proper performance of their duties.
  • Provides complimentary items to guests as requested in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
