About The Position

Foundations Minnesota is seeking a talented and dynamic LADC Counselor - Dual Diagnosis to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals! This is a salaried, full-time, benefits-eligible position at our Pride Program, based in Minneapolis, MN, with a daytime schedule Monday through Friday. The Pride Program is now part of Foundations Minnesota, a new entity designed to strengthen mental and behavioral health services, expand programming, and ensure long-term sustainability. This transition allows us to better meet the needs of our communities while also preserving the Pride Program’s LGBTQ+ specialty outpatient track. This transition reflects our commitment to inclusive, high-quality care and positions us to serve more individuals with comprehensive behavioral health solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in alcohol & drug counseling, mental health, marriage & family therapy, and/or social work required.
Current LADC required.
1-2 years’ experience in the chemical dependency field
12 contact hours of co-occurring disorders training
Insight regarding the unique challenges faced by our clients.
Must be able to pass/clear the MN DHS Background Study
Must be free of problematic substance use for at least the two years immediately preceding their hiring.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree strongly preferred.
Dual-licensure strongly preferred: LPCC/LGSW/LMFT or provisional licensure may be considered.
LPCC/LGSW/LMFT strongly preferred.
