About The Position
Yü Smart is seeking experienced Dual Fuel Engineers to join their nationwide team. As part of Yü Group, a growing business energy supplier, the company aims to innovate in the commercial energy market. Engineers will install smart metering solutions for businesses across the UK. The role starts as a Dual Fuel Engineer with training provided within approximately 8 weeks to become an Elite Dual Fuel Engineer, including training in warrant work. The company emphasizes customer service, innovative technology, and a supportive work environment. This position offers opportunities for upskilling in areas like 3-phase, Medium Pressure, and advanced gas metering, as well as potential progression to Half-Hourly, CT, and further gas metering expertise. Unlike some positions, this role does not require commercial experience and operates on a rotating Monday-Friday shift pattern between 6 am and 8 pm, ensuring evenings and weekends are free. Requirements

- Experienced Smart Metering Dual Fuel Engineer
- Industry Qualifications: CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent)
- Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent)
- UK Driving Licence
- Pass a DBS check
- Must have an indefinite right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
Nice To Haves
- Commercial metering experience (not required, as training is provided).
Responsibilities
- Focus purely on technical metering work (for Non-Elite Engineers).
- Undertake friendly debt resolution visits to support customers (for Elite Engineers).
- Alternate between attending Warrants as the on-site engineer and acting as the Warrant Officer (for Elite Engineers).
- Safe installation, exchange, commissioning, removal, and maintenance of metering systems, associated equipment, and communication systems.
- Deliver friendly, professional customer interactions, ensuring every visit reflects company values.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, metering standards, and company procedures.
- Take ownership of stock, tools, and company vehicle.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to deliver team and business goals.
- Be open to ongoing development through technical training and mentoring opportunities.
