About The Position

SRSU seeks qualified, adjunct/part-time instructors to teach dual credit students enrolled in freshman- and sophomore-level university courses in Economics. This position involves teaching online, synchronous courses at various times, creating engaging lessons, using established course syllabi, evaluating student progress, and maintaining professional relationships. The role is security sensitive, requiring due caution and safe work habits for personal and others' safety.

Requirements

• Qualified, adjunct/part-time instructors
• Ability to teach freshman- and sophomore-level university courses in Economics
• Ability to teach online, synchronous courses
• Ability to create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
• Ability to use a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines
• Ability to evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and inform students in a timely manner of their progress
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
• Must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.
