About The Position

Hygea Healthcare is seeking a versatile and clinically strong dual-certified FNP/PMHNP to support integrated medical and psychiatric services across our addiction and behavioral health programs. This role is ideal for providers who enjoy whole-person care and collaborative practice.

Requirements

• Active FNP-BC and PMHNP-BC certifications
• Maryland NP license (or eligibility)
• Ability to manage both medical and psychiatric presentations in a behavioral health setting

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical foundations welcome

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and medication management
• Provide medical assessments, chronic disease management, and urgent clinical support as needed
• Complete H&Ps, medication reconciliation, and ongoing medical oversight
• Collaborate with nursing, UR, billing, and leadership to ensure compliance and medical necessity
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Kipu
