About The Position
Join our ICS team in West St Paul as a DSP! You will be serving clients with a variety of mental health needs. You will provide services such as: Medication assistance, Goal setting, Assistance with problem solving, Assistance with building independence in homemaking skills, Assistance with provider coordination. This role does not include completion of personal cares. You will work as a team with other DSPs, Program Leaders, and Nurses to provide a safe living environment for all clients.
Requirements
- Must pass a Department of Human Services background check
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Understanding of basic computer functionality
- Engage naturally in rapport building and active listening
- Maintain composure in escalated situations
- Collaborate with clients to determine practical steps to solve problems
Nice To Haves
- At least 6 months of full-time OR 1 year of part-time work experience (for starting at $18)
- At least 2 years of full-time work experience with at least 6 months of relevant work experience (for starting at $19)
- At least 3 years of full-time work experience with at least 1 year of relevant work experience (for starting at $20)
- At least 4 years of full-time work experience with at least 2 years of relevant work experience (for starting at $21)
