About The Position
Otsego Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to join their elementary staff. The ideal candidate must be physically and mentally capable of working with students with special needs. This position will work towards the implementation of IEP academic, functional, and behavioral objectives, implement instructional plans, and provide physical assistance to assigned students as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with youth strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Work with teachers, ancillary staff and administration toward the implementation of IEP academic, functional, and behavioral objectives
- Implement instructional plans provided by special and general education teachers, speech and language teacher and other professional staff
- Provide physical assistance to assigned students as needed.
