About The Position

Since 1996, RQ Construction, LLC has been a top name in commercial and government design-build work across Southern California - and today our projects span coast to coast, with a strong focus on Department of Defense contracts. We're hiring a hands-on Drywall Finisher for our Aguadilla, PR team. You'll work with hand and power tools to install and finish drywall, and pitch in on general site tasks: prepping and cleaning job sites, digging trenches, bracing supports, putting up scaffolding, and clearing debris and non-hazardous waste. Depending on the day, you may also run construction equipment and help keep it in good repair. Safety comes first on every task, in line with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Note: this role is on a military installation, so prevailing wage rates apply.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 3+ years of commercial/industrial drywall finishing experience

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification
• Forklift or manlift certification
• Trenching and shoring training
• Fall protection training
• Confined space training
• Lockout/Tagout training
• Scissor lift or boom lift certification
• EM-385 40-hour or OSHA 10-hour certification
