Under general supervision, this position involves carrying drywall from storage to active construction sites, which may involve carrying by hand, or using a mechanical cart or forklift as necessary. The role also includes loading and unloading drywall onto delivery vehicles. This is an entry-level position where the incumbent will receive on-the-job training.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent experience
- Ability to receive on-the-job training for an entry-level position
Responsibilities
- Carry drywall from storage to active construction sites
- Transport drywall by hand, mechanical cart, or forklift as necessary
- Load and unload drywall onto and from delivery vehicles, utilizing knowledge of load building to ensure safe transportation of materials
