Requirements
- Must have experience in drywall texture, interior painting, cabinet installation, subfloor repair, trim, and light construction. This is part of the daily job. Mostly interior work.
- Carpentry: 3+ years of commercial experience
- Drywall texture: 2+ years' experience
- Possess outstanding customer service skills and a can-do attitude.
- This position will mainly work 1st shift but will need occasional 2nd shift availability.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to use work order systems.
- Must have the ability to complete required safety classes.
- Personal hand tools
- Ability to pass an FBI & BCI background check.
- Valid Driver's License.
Responsibilities
- Bridges structural framing and interior finishing. Read blueprints, build or true up metal/wood stud frameworks, measure and cut drywall panels, fasten them securely to walls and ceilings, and ensure smooth, plumb surfaces ready for tape and finishing.
- Alteration, repair, construction, and maintenance of floors, stairways, partitions, and walls.
- Install doors and frames.
- Install drop ceiling grid and tile.
- Install cove base; install and repair modular carpet squares, LVT tile, and hardwood flooring.
- Interior and exterior surface preparation for painting to include, but not limited to, sanding, filling holes, drywall, and wall repair.
- Drive Company vehicles for miscellaneous tasks such as snow removal, material pickup, etc.
- Additional duties as assigned.
