About The Position

We’re looking for a Commercial Construction Estimator to join a U.S.-based construction team as a fully dedicated remote resource. This role is ideal for an estimator who is highly detail-oriented, understands commercial construction, and has hands-on experience with drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and interior finishes. You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate bids and detailed takeoffs, supporting pre-construction activities, responding to RFIs, and coordinating with subcontractors and vendors. The client values accuracy and quality over simply moving quickly, so strong judgment, organization, and attention to detail are essential. The successful candidate will work closely with the client’s existing team and workflows, communicating proactively and integrating into their day-to-day operations. The expected workload is approximately 15–20 estimates per month, depending on project complexity, with a 40-hour-per-week full-time commitment.

Requirements

• Civil engineering degree or equivalent estimating background
• 3+ years of professional estimating experience
• Proven expertise in: Commercial construction, drywall, metal framing, ceilings (acoustical), and finishes
• Fluent English (written and verbal)
• Experience with estimating software (OST and Quick Bid preferred)
• Familiarity with US construction market projects
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Minimum 3 years of estimating experience
• Availability for 40 hours/week, full-time commitment
• Experience estimating commercial drywall and/or ceilings
• Ability to work independently and meet monthly estimate targets (15–20 minimum)

Nice To Haves

• Ideally 10–15+ years for senior roles
• Demonstrated experience estimating drywall, metal studs, ceilings, and interior finishes in commercial projects
• Proven track record with US-based clients or projects
• Familiarity with construction estimating tools (OST, Quick Bid, or similar software)
• Remote work experience in integrated client workflows

Responsibilities

• Prepare bids and complete takeoffs for commercial construction projects
• Process RFIs (Requests for Information) and submit responses
• Coordinate with subcontractors and manage vendor outreach
• Handle pre-construction support activities
• Integrate seamlessly into client workflows via remote communication
• Target minimum of 15–20 estimates per month (flexible based on project complexity)
• Work 40 hours per week as a fully dedicated resource
