About The Position

This role is responsible for providing quality service and products to customers in a timely and professional manner. The primary function is to pick up dry linen and feed items into various dry fold machines, adhering to standard operating procedures for each machine. The position also involves inspecting each piece of linen for stains, tears, holes, and wear, while consistently meeting quality and production standards.

Requirements

• Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day.
• Be able to push/pull linen carts up to 800 lbs (in wheels).
• Be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Be able to operate computer/printer.
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Pick up dry linen and feed items into various dry fold machines.
• Follow standard operating procedures for each machine.
• Inspect each piece of linen for stains, tears, holes, and wears.
• Meet quality and production standards.
• Be on time.
• Have excellent attendance.
• Meet established production standards.
• Follow all company safety rules.
• Be able to work well with a diverse workforce.
• Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Possess and maintain a positive attitude.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in line with company policies.
• Be able to work past the schedule, as production issues may arise.
• Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit.
• Cross-train in other positions per production needs.
