About The Position
Agropur is seeking a Dryer Operator I in Jerome, ID. This role is responsible for operating the whey permeate dryer and ensuring optimum daily performance and quality permeate and protein powder production. The position involves performing daily operations and cleaning of equipment associated with the dryer operation, performing operator-level maintenance when needed, ensuring safe operation and sanitation of equipment, sustaining and supporting automated systems, and following procedures and work instructions set forth through SOP’s and Master Sanitation Schedules.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a related field required.
- Ability to read, understand, and adhere to documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP).
- Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and complete required documentation.
- Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment.
Responsibilities
