About The Position

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Dry Process Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is on third shift, with working hours from 9:45 PM to 6:15 AM. In this role, you’ll play a key part in producing high-quality dry-blended food products by operating specialized equipment, following precise batch formulas, and upholding strict safety and quality standards. Requirements

  • Experience with manufacturing, blending, or packaging equipment preferred
  • Ability to set up, operate, disassemble, and clean production equipment
  • Forklift experience (or willingness to become certified)
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Understanding of dry blending processes and materials
  • Ability to read and follow batch sheets and production instructions
  • Familiarity with safe handling of chemicals and materials (HazCom/MSDS)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Ability to read, write, and complete documentation accurately
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle materials of varying sizes and weights
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor dry blending equipment, including blenders, batch controllers, bag/supersack fillers, sealers, and raw material feed systems
  • Safely operate forklifts, vacuum lifts, and other material handling equipment (certification required)
  • Produce finished goods in accordance with batch specifications and quality standards
  • Adjust equipment settings to maintain proper blending and packaging performance
  • Collect and document samples of raw ingredients and finished products for quality control
  • Accurately weigh, measure, and handle raw materials using scales and supersacks
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Follow all safety procedures, including Hazard Communication (HazCom), MSDS guidelines, and proper use of PPE
  • Communicate production status, issues, and improvements to the Team Leader or Manufacturing Supervisor
  • Support other departments as needed and take on additional responsibilities as assigned
