This role is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the establishment. The position requires adherence to all required work-safe practices, including Good Manufacturing Practices, wearing appropriate PPE, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, and fall restraints. The order selector will read production schedules and customer orders to determine items to be gathered, convey materials, sort and place items on racks or shelves, and fill requisitions. Additionally, the role involves assembling customer orders, marking materials, opening containers, recording received and distributed items, weighing or counting items, and arranging stock parts. The position also includes driving a vehicle to transport items, completing requisition forms, preparing parcels for mailing, maintaining inventory records, and performing other assigned duties.
