About The Position

Ice Cream Specialties is seeking a Dry Goods/ Inventory Coordinator to join their warehouse and operations team. This role is responsible for supporting inventory control, material planning, warehouse coordination, and ensuring production has the necessary materials and ingredients for efficient operations. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with potential for overtime and Saturdays based on business needs. Employees are eligible for a $0.65 increase upon successful review, along with annual merit increases. Paid lunch and breaks are included.

Requirements

• General warehouse operations knowledge preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer experience and proficiency with warehouse systems
• Detail-oriented with strong sense of urgency and accountability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fork truck certification or ability to become certified
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Inventory control over materials and ingredients
• Maintain and update warehouse reports, forecasts, and planning documents
• Coordinate inbound shipments and receiving schedules
• Process and verify receiving paperwork
• Maintain material planning workbooks and pull sheets
• Assist with production scheduling and warehouse meetings
• Track inbound damages and complete reports with photos
• Support warehouse operations and assist supervisors as needed
• Support food safety and environmental health & safety programs
• Fill in for warehouse personnel when needed
• Other duties assigned by management
