About The Position

At Micron Technology, the Dry Etch Principal Process Development Engineer advances and improves plasma dry etch processes for forthcoming generations of Micron memory products. The role guides ideas from conception through process development and integration into production facilities, working collaboratively with process integration, electrical failure analysis, yield improvement, manufacturing, and equipment engineering teams. The engineer develops robust etch processes that meet demanding physical and electrical requirements and leads dry etch technology roadmaps that influence Micron’s semiconductor manufacturing capabilities. The role also applies AI-enabled analysis tools, data-driven methodologies, or programming solutions to improve engineering efficiency and accelerate technical decision-making. Micron describes its benefits as supporting personal wellbeing and professional growth, including medical, dental, and vision plan options, income-protection programs, paid family leave, paid time off, and paid holidays.
