About The Position

This role involves packaging drum pack tubular wire for customer use, adhering to Route Card/process sheet and production schedule requirements. The operator will be responsible for safe operation, identifying and correcting unsafe situations, and following process specifications for machine setup, production, and packaging. The position requires running multiple machines, performing quality checks, and completing machine setup, changeovers, adjustments, and troubleshooting in a timely manner. Responsibilities also include placing nonconforming products on hold, performing rework, restocking, and maintaining housekeeping. The operator will also be expected to read and update the schedule and train on and operate other machines/processes as necessary.

Requirements

Training on applicable Precision / Robo Pack and Drum Pack machinery is required.
Able to lift approx. 65 pounds on a continual basis.
Able to safely load / unload reels in and out of machine.
Able to meet / exceed specified production rates.
Able to meet expectations for safety, attendance, and time management.
Possess an excellent quality record.
Possess an excellent attitude, communication, and team working skills.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience may be required.

Responsibilities
