Drum Pack Operator - 2nd or 3rd Shift

This role involves packaging drum pack tubular wire for customer use according to Route Card / process sheet and production schedule requirements. This is a 2nd or 3rd shift position.
Requirements
- Training on applicable Precision / Robo Pack and Drum Pack machinery is required.
- Able to lift approx. 65 pounds on a continual basis.
- Able to safely load / unload reels in and out of machine.
- Able to meet / exceed specified production rates.
- Able to meet expectations for safety, attendance, and time management.
- Possess an excellent quality record.
- Possess an excellent attitude, communication, and team working skills.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience may be required.
Responsibilities
- Operate safely and identify / correct unsafe situations.
- Follow process specifications for machine setup, production, and packaging.
- Run multiple machines.
- Perform specified quality checks.
- Complete machine setup, change over, cast / sinewave adjustments, and troubleshooting in a timely manner.
- Place nonconforming products on hold.
- Perform rework.
- Perform restock and housekeeping.
- Willing to train on and operate other machines / processes as necessary.
- Read and update schedule.
