About The Position

The Drop Team Associate is responsible for accurately counting machine drops, completing associated paperwork, and verifying the contents of canister/containers. Any questions or concerns should be directed to your immediate supervisor for clarification. This role requires adherence to all policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements for the drop department as approved by the Kaw Nation Gaming Commission. The associate will collect slot machine and kiosk drop boxes according to the established drop schedule, transport them securely to the count room, and verify machine and box numbers for accuracy. Coordination with Surveillance and Security staff is necessary to ensure operational integrity and regulatory compliance. Accurate logs and documentation must be maintained throughout drop operations, and any discrepancies or irregularities must be reported immediately to supervisors. The role also involves assisting fellow team members, adhering to uniform requirements, and maintaining a professional appearance while representing KGI. All applicable state, federal, and tribal laws, regulations, and compliance requirements must be followed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Must pass background and drug screening per Kaw Nation Gaming Commission regulations to obtain a gaming license (Medical Marijuana cards are accepted).
  • Flexibility to work any shift as needed or assigned—including weekends, evenings, and holidays—is required.
  • Frequent lifting (occasionally in excess of 50 pounds).
  • Frequent bending, stooping, walking, standing and use of hands / fingers.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Verify machine and box numbers for accuracy and consistency with operational records.
  • Coordinate with Surveillance and Security staff to ensure operational integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation throughout drop operations.
  • Report any discrepancies, malfunctions, or irregularities immediately to supervisors.
  • Assist fellow team members as needed.
  • Adhere to uniform requirements and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing KGI.
  • Follow all applicable state, federal, and tribal laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
