About The Position
ITC Service Group is seeking motivated individuals to join their fiber splicing team. The company provides managed services and workforce solutions for the nationwide planning, design, construction, installation, and maintenance of voice, data, and video networks. While experience in the Telecom industry is preferred, it is not required as full training will be provided for splicing fiber optic cable, including underground and aerial splicing, and running fiber drops for residential and commercial customers. Experience running trenching machines is considered a plus.
Requirements
- Valid state driver’s license and non-negligent driving record
- Ability to visually perceive differences in wire and cable colors
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol screen

- Experience in the Telecom industry

Responsibilities
- Splice fiber optic cable
- Perform underground and aerial splicing
- Run fiber drops for clients
- Operate various trenching equipment such as a mini skid steer or walk beside trencher
- Carry, handle, and climb 28-ft ladders
- Work at heights, splicing fiber on utility poles and strands
- Complete on-the-job and/or classroom training
