Join our dynamic team and help shape the future of connectivity! A Day in the Life Socket is looking for hard-working, dependable individuals to join our Drop Crew Technician team. In this role, you’ll assist installation technicians in preparing sites for fiber line installation. This is a physically active, outdoor position—perfect for those who enjoy hands-on work and seeing the results of their efforts every day.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous labor or construction experience
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Prepare and optimize sites for fiber drop installation
• Load, unload, and maintain tools and equipment
• Dig trenches and operate machinery such as a vibratory plow
• Assist with traffic control when working in public rights-of-way
• Keep equipment clean and job sites organized
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards
• Maintain reliable attendance and a clean driving record
• Perform other duties as assigned
