About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Drop Count Supervisor, the Drop/Count Team Member is responsible for the drop and count processes for Gaming Machines. This role involves opening, removing, and securing currency from slot machines, adhering strictly to all drop/count policies and procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation for audit purposes. The position also requires reporting any discrepancies, maintaining confidentiality, preparing and bundling currency, and ensuring excellent attendance. Additionally, the role includes maintaining the general upkeep of the Count Room, performing minor repairs and maintenance on Count Room equipment, and collaborating effectively with team members to achieve departmental objectives. Other duties as required will also be performed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Operate calculator efficiently.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language.
  • Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and any shift.
  • Must be able to pass background check and receive a gaming license from the Robinson Rancheria Gaming Commission as required to work in gaming operations.
  • Must pass an annual Title 31 exam.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior count room or money handling experience (casino or bank) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Completing Drop/Count during regular shift.

  • Maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Preparing and bundling currency.

  • General upkeep of the Count Room.
  • Performing minor repairs and maintenance of the Count Room equipment.
  • Working with others, communicating well, and receiving direction to achieve department objectives.
  • Performing other duties as required.
