About The Position

Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel is seeking a full-time Drop and Count Staff member for the Third Shift. This role involves performing daily slot machine drops, sorting, counting, and recording the contents of slot and table game drop boxes according to set procedures and internal controls. The position also includes cashiering functions such as NRT machines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Six months money handling experience preferred
  • Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:
  • Basic mechanical (repair) ability helpful
  • Must possess proven mathematical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to learn and to be adaptable
  • Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

  • Six months money handling experience

Responsibilities

  • Establish and endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values
  • Perform daily slot machine drops
  • Perform daily Table Count
  • Process currency, ticket and coupon count for each machine included in the daily drop as prescribed by the Internal Controls
  • Process currency and paperwork for each table game included in the daily drop as prescribed by the Internal Controls
  • Maintain the count room, clean and organize for daily drop processing
  • Responsible for the upkeep and basic maintenance of the G and D Count machine and other count equipment
  • Responsible for the upkeep and basic maintenance of the Mule including the daily charging of the unit
  • Perform additional duties as assigned including, but not limited to the NRT Drop and Count
  • Able to work in environment requiring strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Able to answer questions about Harrah’s facilities, services, promotions, and events
  • Adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies/ procedures in an ethical manner
