About The Position

Taranis is seeking qualified drone pilots to collect agricultural imagery through the Taranis Direct program. Pilots contract directly with Taranis and coordinate with Flight Operations to complete missions using company-provided equipment. Assignments are centered near each pilot’s home whenever practical. The seasonal contract runs from May through August 2027. Contractors provide their own vehicles, while Taranis provides the aircraft and required flight equipment. Payment is based on completed flown acres. Compensation rates, minimum-acreage terms, and arrangements for travel outside the assigned operating area are discussed during recruitment and documented in the contractor agreement. Applicants complete an online application with their contact information, home location, Part 107 qualifications, flight experience, and seasonal availability.
