About The Position

Valinor Condor is building the next generation of autonomous VTOL aircraft for defense and enterprise applications. We're a small, technical team moving fast — our vehicle is flying, our customers are real, and the work spans simulation to real life. Condor is seeking a Drone Assembly Technician to join our team. This role is critical to scaling our manufacturing capability and supporting rapid growth. This position will start as a 3-month contract role, with the potential to convert to full-time based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

• Experience with mechanical and/or electrical assembly
• Proficiency in soldering and wiring for small electronics
• Ability to read and follow technical assembly instructions, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment
• Must be a U.S. Person, as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.62, based in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with 3D printing, drones, UAS, robotics, or RC systems strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform precision mechanical assembly of small UAS platforms and subassemblies
• Conduct electrical assembly, including soldering and wiring
• Support component/assembly testing
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve assembly or integration issues with engineering support
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop in accordance with ESD and safety protocols
• Support continuous improvement in assembly processes and documentation
